Random Photowalk - downtown San Jose

Twas the night before the official day of summer and all though the city people were glued intently to their TV screens as the Miami Heat win game 7 to become the NBA Champions.

I, of course, was more interested in finding a good place sit and listen to loud amplified music. Roaming the downtown streets that is better known as downtown San Jose, I was a bit surprised to find that there wasn't very much happening. The city folk communicating by yelling across the street and ending each sentence or thought with...'you know what I'm saying'.

Being that it's a Thursday didn't quite help as well...although, supposedly Thursday is the night that the clubs play more house music (ibiza/soul style).

As I settled in at the bar stool, putting in my order with the bartender, my attention was turned to the DJ that was behind the decks. I thought that he was asleep. Now I realize that some people tend to feel the spirituality in soulful house music so I will go ahead in assume that this is what was happening. The other assumption that I can surmise was that the DJ was concentrating on finding the matching beat for the next track. Overall, I think that the DJ did a great job. Also, I'm really in no position to speak being that the DJ was behind the decks and I was sitting at a bar stool sipping on my dark cola beverage while scrolling through FB and Twitter on my phone.

As I exited the establishment and turned left, I was starting to notice more interesting compositions were presenting itself. Soo I took my time and captured what images I could.
